This is a carbon impregnated filter foam

HQ Carbon Filter Foam is impregnated with highly activated carbon. This impregnation maximizes the effective surface area of the filter medium without changing its volume.

Approx. 80 - 100 grams of activated carbon is impregnated per millimeter of material thickness and square meter of foam, resulting in a specific surface of 900 - 1300 m² per gram.

In addition, the open-cell structure of the filter foam minimizes the pressure drop during filtration. This ensures optimum air distribution and thus maximum utilization of the carbon material with minimum energy consumption.
