The frame is used again when changing the filter. You only change the filter media in the frame itself. Use two standard filters for a normal filter change.
Depending on the pollution in your area, Nilan recommends replacing the filters 3 to 4 times a year or when the system indicates this.
Vacuuming or washing your filter is not recommended - only with new filters will you ensure optimum operation and air quality.
