Wolf CGL 500/600/800 (Exhaust Air)- M5-Filter
Wolf CGL 500/600/800 (Exhaust Air)-M5-Filter
This HQ power filter for your Wolf CGL 500/600/800 is an upgrade of the standard M5 filter with its spacer technology and offers the best protection against fine dust and pollen in your home.
The filter material is polyester, which ensures the physical durability of the filter, even in places with humid air.
Because this filter is equipped with a filter media efficiency and aerodynamics for better filter performance, you create the best indoor climate for you and your family.
This mini pleat media is mounted in a hardened waterproof cardboard frame with extra narrow edges for an even larger filter surface and lower resistance, so less energy is required.
The HQ power filter is mounted on the fresh air supply in your Wolf CGL 500/600/800
We recommend that you inspect your filter every three months and replace the filter at least every six months, also to limit contamination of the air ducts. Dirty air ducts are a breeding ground for fungi and bacteria.
In addition to the use of these filters, we recommend that you regularly use the Protec spray.

The filter standard: EN799:2012 has been replaced by the filter standard: ISO16890 sinds since 1 July 2018
The filters are placed in so-called ePM categories.
This classification gives an accurate indication of which particle sizes are filtered out of the air.
PM1 stands for all types of particulate matter ('ParticulateMatter') that are smaller than 1 micron (μ = one thousandth of a millimeter):
PM1: 1μ = 0.001mm
PM2.5: 2.5μ = 0.0025mm
PM10: 10μ = 0.01mm
The 'e' for PM1 stands for 'efficiency' and indicates the efficiency of the air filter in capturing PM1.
Based on these values, the standard now divides filters into four groups that filter different dust particles:
ISOCoarse< 50% (sand, fluff, hair)
ISO ePM10 ≥ 50% (pollen, rock dust)
ISO ePM2.5 ≥ 50% (mold spores, toner dust)
ISO ePM1 (combustion particles, nanoparticles, viruses)
